1. Tadasana ( The Mountain Pose)
It's very simple to perform, stand tall on any mat with the feet near to each other and arms by your side. Distribute the weight equally to feel balanced. Next, Inhale; Raise your arms overhead and fold them in prayer position. Keep your breathing in relaxed posture. focus at a point in front of yourself. Hold this pose for 60 seconds.
2. Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)
It begin with a mountain pose with feet hip-distance apart. Stick your feet comfortably on the floor and lift your left leg high. Place your left foot on the edge of the right thigh. After that, align your right and left posterior. Stay like this and take deep relaxing breaths and balance the body. Now, fold your palms in "Namaste" position in front of your heart and move softly in forwarding direction. Do it for maximum 40- 60 seconds.
3. Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend Pose)
Simply get up and stand on any mat with an erect spine and hands on your hip and take a deep breath, stretch your arms up toward the ceiling. After that, exhale and bend down at the hips and bring the arms on the floor next to each foot or rest your hands on the back of the ankles. Upon practice, do it for 40- 60 seconds.
4. Vajrasana (Sitting straight on folded legs)
Vajrasana is another simple yet powerful pose of yoga asanas. In vajrasana, you need to sit straight on your legs back, and your back and shoulders straight. You should make a position like English alphabet L, where the lower portion is your legs and the upper portion of the letter L is your upper body.
5. The Lotus Pose
The Lotus pose involves sitting on the floor with your back straight and your body and mind calm and quiet for better concentration. In this yoga the main motto is to make the body stable, focused and active. Sitting with back straight helps in proper blood regulation. This yoga is very simple and best recommended for people which has the habit of doing random futile moves like shaking the legs.
